Sarah Ockwell-Smith

Sarah is a mum of three, passionate about childbirth with an in-depth knowledge of pregnancy and birth, she has experience in homebirth and waterbirth being an agent for a birthing pool hire company and running the local NCT homebirth support group. Sarah is also a Homeopath (registered with the Society of Homeopaths) who specialises in the treatment of women and children - pregnancy and birth being her area of expertise. Sarah herself has used HypnoBirthing in the home waterbirth of her 11lb 3oz baby boy - with *no* pain relief! .

Sarah has a background in Psychology and conventional medicine before moving onto more natural health studies. She is frequently asked to contribute articles (both on natural health and childbirth) to many magazines and her work has featured in Pregnancy and Birth, The Green Parent, TreeHuggerMums, The East Anglian Daily Times, The Hertfordshire & Essex Observer and BBC Radio Cambridgeshire.

HypnoBirthing is a complete antenatal education which teaches that childbirth can be a calm, comfortable and extremely fulfilling event, clients often comment on Sarah's passion and in-depth knowledge of the subject based on her many years of study of the subject and her own personal experience, and how this is conveyed through her teaching.
