My counselling diploma is in Integrative Psychosynthesis which is a holistic approach to working with you as issues and feelings are explored together. It embraces the whole person – the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of the individual.
The difficulties we face hold messages that need to be listened to, acknowledged and understood before we can move on. It is not about pushing away the parts of ourselves that we don’t like – more about understanding their needs and this can allow a deep healing to take place.
By bringing awareness to our inner life we may find a strength and balance, and allow a sense of soul to emerge. Soul in this context is not a thing, but qualities of depth, richness and heart which make ordinary life meaningful and enjoyable.
