Craniosacral Therapy is a very beautiful, subtle yet powerful method of healing aimed at freeing up the healing mechanisms inherent within us.  These healing mechanisms often become overwhelmed due to injury, disease or emotional distress.  Through sensitive touch, the therapist 'listens' to the movement of fluids, tissues, organs and energy flow within the body.  The treatment seeks to enhance energy levels, encourage stillness and bring the system more into balance.  It can help with a wide range of issues such as back pain, migraine, fibromyalgia, breathing difficulties, birth trauma and mental/emotional distress.  It is particularly effective for stress related conditions.  My particular interests are emotional and psychological issues and how these relate to physical stress within the body.  My own development continues with commitment to ongoing training, supervision, gestalt therapy, yoga, meditation and qi gong.
