The Bowen Technique provides safe, gentle and effective pain relief for a wide range of conditions. It is non-intrusive, and treatment is performed through light clothing. Rolling-type moves made with thumbs and fingertips on specific points on the body engage the body's natural healing systems, and encourage the body to realign itself. No manipulation or force is used or needed. It is suitable for everyone, from babies to the elderly, and 2 - 3 sessions are often sufficient to resolve even long-standing problems.

I visited Jackie for treatment for the first time yesterday. I have had a long standing shoulder injury which 'typical' physiotherapists have not been able to put right, despite several cortisone injections and exercises.

I had heard of the Bowen technique and phoned several practitioners in my area. Jackie at once sounded calm and friendly and knowledgable having pratcised the technique for 10 years.

She fully explained the process and through careful questioning was able to elicit my problems (which turned out to be several!!!).
