We all need support at times in our life. Some difficulties can feel all-consuming. Counselling enables you to look at your situation in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space and see things from a different angle.

I have experience of working with a broad number of issues including depression, anxiety, bereavement and loss, self-harm, trauma, addictions, anger, difficult relationships, abuse, family break-ups and eating disorders.

You may want to focus on a specific issue or look at your life in general - how it is now, if significant past experiences are affecting you, what you want for your future.  I am happy to work with you short or long-term.

Counselling sessions with me offer you the opportunity to explore all parts of your personality - to celebrate what you like about yourself as well as acknowledge what you are not so happy with. I believe that when we know our personality more fully we need not be dominated by just one way of behaving or being.  We have choice and can find our own unique self-expression.  Facing what we would prefer to deny or ignore about ourselves can be liberating.  We can find hidden potential!

I hold a postgraduate diploma in Psychosynthesis counselling which belongs to the humanistic field of counselling.  Psychosynthesis is transpersonal counselling - going beyond the person and the personality to include the soul and working with purpose and potential.
