You don't say how old your son is, or whether you are breastfeeding - if so you can ask about this when you take your son to the clinic.

Otherwise you need to see your GP for a check-up. You can ask to see a woman doctor if you prefer. If you have a problem they can help you - it's no good trying to ignore it - and if not you will feel reassured that all is well.

    Dear Antonia,
This may not be anything to worry about. It sounds as though there may be a slight infection - witnessed by the swelling, inflammation and the skin peeling. YOu may have a duct inflammation. BUT, it may be more serious - I doubt it though as it has been present for such a short p[eriod of time. Try the remedies below for a few days, and if no better see your GP.

Bathing this breast in cool water and wrapping with a cabbage leaf will help, as would taking Salmon Oil Plus - a natural antiinflammatory and also strongly anti-cancer - esp for breast and prostate cancer, so given the family history I would advise you to take this anyway. more details here: *removed* *removed* along with other articles on breast cancer etc. (YOu can't buy this ultra-clean supplement in the shops as its not retailed but I always stock it... call me if you want to order some - *removed* and I can put it in the post.

    Hope that all helps.
Don't worry though - I don't think this is too big a problem, more of an irritation and concern.

    Kind regards,
