I fell off a tight rope and hurt my shoulder.

When I fell off the tight rope I hit my head on the floor and at the same time I put my arm out and ripped something inside. I've given it just over two weeks to improve. Which it has, but it has reached a point and it's not getting any better. My main problem is that I haven't had a good nights sleep since. Anybody got any suggestions for a suitable therapy?
Thanks.

Hello Circus skills! I am sorry to hear about your accident. I trust you have been to your G.P. for an initial assesement to rule out any broken bones or fractures? Assuming you have, and have just been prescribed pain relief and lots of rest to aid recovery, I would recommend The Bowen Technique. It is an amazing and powerful hands on technique that rebalances the body, especially after an injury. It has a high success rate and is is a safe and gentle therapy. I practice in Harrow, Middlesex, and would recommend 3-6 sessions initially. I hope this helps.

Hi there. It sounds like your fall was a bit gruesome! If its so bad that it keeps you awake, there might be a fracture so yes, I also suggest you get it checked out by a medical doctor. A Brennan Healing Science practitioner works on 7 layers of the energy field, therefore we do repair work on each layer but especially the 1st layer which holds a template for the physical body and lines of light get torn on this level when injuries happen.

As a result of the fall, your system will be in truama as well. So a healing will help to clear and charge your energy centres as well as strengthening your grounding - falls are generally related to not being very grounded :-)

Finally, depending on which shoulder it is, there may be some emotional issue connected to certain people that causes a weakness in the area which you might want to address.

Please feel free to call me directly if you want to discuss things further.

    Good luck

    Hi Circus skills
Just wondered how your shoulder is recovering. It sounded drastic when you said that somthing had 'ripped'. Have you had it checked out medically?
There are lots of therapies that may help with a shoulder injury and I would agree that Bowen technique has good results. I would also add the Emmett Technique to the list of suggestions you might try. This is often used in conjunction with Bowen technique. Try www.emmett-technique.co.uk to find a practitioner near you.
    good luck

So I would suppose that you are and were very emotional over the fall. The remaining discomfort will remain until you address this emotional aspect. go here: *removed*%20%28Gary%29.pdf download the manual and tap away your pain!

    Love and energy,

    John.
