Although Clare’s early professional experience was within banking, she has been involved with complementary therapies since 1981. Bach Flower Remedies were one of the first ‘therapies’ to find her and have been a part of her life since then. She left banking in 1995 as part of a ‘life change, and over the following years trained as a Bach practitioner, reflexologist, healer, teacher and hypnotherapist. She realised that her true path was with complementary therapies and training - helping others to improve their wellbeing, particularly in the fields of Stress Management and promoting mental well-being.
Clare is a Licentiate Member of the Hypnotherapy Society, a Bach Foundation Registered Practitioner, a student member of The Chartered Management Institute, and the International Stress Management Association (UK). As a self-employed complementary therapist and trainer, she has a broad experience within adult and further education, teaching in colleges, the community, and in commerce. The subjects on offer are related to self- development, complementary therapies, stress management, and good business practice. These are presented both on a personal level, and within the workplace, with reference to the Health and Safety Executive guidelines on stress.
